Mirjam De Blécourt, partner of Employment Law and former board member of Baker & McKenzie’s Amsterdam office, heads the employment group in Amsterdam. She advises on labor and employment laws. She advises Boards on collective dismissals and advises on corporate governance. She is specialized in fraud cases. Mirjam was named Best in Labour and Employment in Europe at the International Financial Law Review’s Women in Business Law Awards of 2011 and 2012.
Mirjam was also named leading practitioner in the Guide to the World’s Leading Labour and Employment Lawyers. She is a member of the worldwide Baker & McKenzie’s ethical Committee and Head of Diversity and Inclusion. She is a member of the board of the Concertgebouwfonds. Mrs. De Blécourt studied Private Law and Tax Law at Leiden University and was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 1990.
Besides her role at Baker & McKenzie’s she’s also member of the Senate of the Dutch parliament.
